The InvisibleShield lines, plainly
- Glass Elite is the mainstream choice. Strong, clear, good oleophobic coating that keeps fingerprints down. If you are not sure which to pick, this is it.
- Glass XTR sits at the thicker end of the range with added blue-light filtering. It feels more substantial in hand and absorbs impact better.
- Fusion is a hybrid film rather than glass. Lighter and more flexible, a good fit for foldables and curved displays where rigid glass tends to lift.
- Anti-glare and privacy versions exist across several lines. Anti-glare genuinely helps outdoors. Privacy filtering darkens the screen off-axis.
Why people pay more for Zagg
Two real reasons. First, device coverage: Zagg supports more models than almost anyone, including foldables like the Galaxy Z Fold and Z Flip, where options are thin. Second, the lifetime replacement warranty. If the protector cracks you pay shipping and Zagg sends another, indefinitely, and they honor it consistently.
Register the warranty when you install. It attaches to you, not the phone, and almost everyone forgets this step.
Installation
Most current Zagg protectors ship with the EZ Apply tray. Your phone drops into the tray, alignment is handled, and you press down. The system is excellent on newer models and more variable on older ones. Clean the screen thoroughly first, since dust causes far more failed installs than bad technique.
